Microsoft have announced their intention to add unlimited dial-in minutes to a wide range of Office/Microsoft 365 SKUs. Currently available with E5, the expanded range will cover:
- Microsoft 365 E3/F1/F3
- Office 365 E1/E3
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic/Standard/Premium
Further extending Microsoft’s telephony offering to a wider range of businesses and users – which has to be a good thing right?
This change will take effect from March 2022.

The MS announcement post (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2021/08/19/new-pricing-for-microsoft-365/) said:
“we will add unlimited dial-in capabilities for Microsoft Teams meetings across our enterprise, business, frontline, and government suites over the next few months”
Which sounds like they’re not planning to include Education, at least initially 😐
